About
Jude Litoff is an experienced composer, singer/song-writer, conductor and music arranger with over 25 years of experience in the music business and an outstanding reputation for directing musical productions, choral concerts, children's operas and international music symposiums.
Jude Litoff's driving energy and unique brand of creativity is reflected in her film scores, movie cues and atmospheric soundscapes.
In her role as a multi-talented and highly charismatic musical director, Jude Litoff has been both composer, librettist and musical director for her London and Jerusalem-based productions of "The Snow Queen", "The Little Prince", "Through Broken Light,"
"You, Me and Totoro", "Tales of Narnia" and
"Alice in Wonderlandzzzzzz".
Jude has recenty scored original music for a short drama, The Water Rats, directed by UK -based director Kai Jolley, script by Simon O'Corra. Her music appears in the ARTE popular series Hôtels mythiques - L'American Colony Hotel à Jérusalem, released September 2020.

Spanish Princess
"The Spanish Princess" was inspired by the Spanish Princess Catherine of Aragon as she departs Spain for the foreign shores of England to marry Prince Arthur, brother to King Henry Viii whom she then marries after his brother's untimely death.
"I tried to capture the elegance and tragedy of this beautiful noblewoman through my music.
I wrote it while I was participating in the 2019 Film Scoring Summer Program in beautiful Varna, Bulgaria."

Water Rats
Water Rats is a family saga set during World War 2. It explores the morality of collaboration and resistance. The play is written by Simon O'Corra, directed by Kai Jolley.
It was filmed on Zoom over the summer of 2020 and stars a talented team of actors and actresses.

"Autumn Mists" was composed in November of this year as autumn began to invade, slowly chilling the air, inviting a feeling of death and decay. I felt inclined to create something beautiful as an antidote and was reminded of John Keats' magnificent "Ode to Autumn".
"Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,
Close-bosom friend of the maturing sun... ".
Somehow it made it easier for me to watch summer disappear and accept winter as it marched its way forward, trampling autumn on its way...
I composed this for flute, oboe and bassoon, piano, harp and string quintet.
